
Hi, I’m Anastasia Cabral—but most people know me as Stasia. I’m a registered dietitian, private chef, culinary instructor, and certified personal trainer with a passion for bringing wholesome, flavorful food to the table. My specialty lies in culinary nutrition and personalized meal prep—transforming fresh, seasonal ingredients into vibrant, health-forward meals that support each client’s unique lifestyle and wellness goals.
I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, where I still live and cook today. After earning my master’s degree in nutrition from Hunter College and completing my dietetic internship at the CUNY School of Public Health, I began blending my nutrition expertise with my love of cooking to make healthy eating approachable and enjoyable.
Over the past several years, I’ve worked as a private chef through Stasia’s Better Bite, where I design and prepare customized menus for clients, from busy professionals to families, ensuring meals are both nourishing and delicious. I also bring my expertise into classrooms and community kitchens, having served as Teaching Kitchen Program Manager at FamilyCook Productions and as a Senior Food Nutrition and Cooking Educator with FoodStream. Along the way, I’ve taught everyone from kids at summer camp to adults looking to feel more confident in the kitchen.
Beyond my chef’s knife, I’ve been recognized as one of NYC Food Policy’s 40 Under 40 Rising Stars (Class of 2024) and have been quoted in outlets like EatWell, Parade, Medical News Today, and Yahoo!
This site, as well as my Substack, is where continue sharing what I love most: making nutritious cooking simple, sustainable, and—most importantly—delicious. My approach isn’t about restriction or food rules. Instead, it’s about adding more real, wholesome, and satisfying meals to your life—one better bite at a time.
